May nakita akong thread sa PEx. Napanood ko yung trailer sa YouTube and I think it's very funny. Sa July 23 ang screening sa CCP, 11pm.
Kung may manonood man, sana maglagay kayo ng review ng film na 'to dito.

sa wakas, napanuod ko na rin sya leshi. walang tigil ang tawa ko sa mga eksena. kinilig din ako ng konti. pero lesh, parang may kulang sa story. parang may hinahanap ako dun na hindi ko nakita (apart from the frontal nudity... chos).

nag-e-expect kc ako ng malaki sa istorya. alam ko na comedy ito pero i thought na magiging seryoso at deep sa isyu ng kabaklaan at realidad. andun naman ang konsepto na hinahanap ko pero parang naisip ko na there should have been more. feeling ko na dapat yun ang magre-register sa isip at kamalayan ng manunuod at ang mga nakakatuwang eksena ay secondary lamang.

I think the whole idea of the film was to be an eye candy and use humor to capture both gay and straight audiences.

Some wouldn't watch something that would require too much analysis. I wouldn't want to pay then think after naman. hahaha.

well, i read an article somewhere that the producer and one of the screenwriters himself claimed that the movie is not just about entertainment and fun... that there's a concept that they would like to emphasize just so audience may take something from it. hate crime against gays was clearly depicted throughout the movie but i think not much has been shown to make the audience ponder and reflect on this reality and learn from it... i believe that the film failed in that sense since it isn't convincing enough to effect change in someone else's behavior.

in fairness, they portrayed a lot of stereotypical ideas of Filipino homosexuality.
I think it's not the lack, it's unresolved kase. They just showed it. un lang.
